Now THAT is a New Year's Eve Show

Live from Elizabeth, New Jersey on the last day of 1971, a slew of Laff Records comics rocked The Brown Derby on 645 Magnolia Avenue! Would love to hear the remembrances of anyone who attended this New Year's Eve extravaganza, especially the 3:00 a.m. show. This lineup makes Andrew Dice Clay look like Pat Boone!

Here, some extremely few-and-far-between clips of this show's headliners that are not the definition of NSFW.

Happy New Year!

Sanford and Son wasn't on the air in 1971. I do remember seeinfmg a TV commercials for this in 1981 or 82.

That's right, Sanford & Son ran from 1972-1977. Redd found recurring roles for LaWanda Page and, in the second season, Skillet & Leroy, whose comedy albums remain emphatically NSFW and X-rated.
